شہاب نامہ قدرت اللہ شہاب کی مشہور خودنوشت ہے، جس میں انہوں نے اپنی زندگی، تعلیم، سرکاری ملازمت اور برصغیر کی سیاسی و سماجی تاریخ کے اہم واقعات کو بیان کیا ہے۔ کتاب میں تحریکِ پاکستان، قیامِ پاکستان اور ابتدائی دورِ پاکستان کے حالات کو ایک ایسے شخص کی نظر سے پیش کیا گیا ہے جو خود کئی اہم سرکاری عہدوں پر فائز رہا۔ اس میں ان کی ذاتی یادوں، مشاہدات، اہم شخصیات سے ملاقاتوں اور روحانی تجربات کا بھی ذکر ملتا ہے۔ اپنی تاریخی اہمیت، دلچسپ واقعات اور منفرد اندازِ بیان کی وجہ سے شہاب نامہ اردو کی معروف خودنوشتوں میں شمار ہوتی ہے۔
